Kristen Manieri is the president of the Bear Mountain
Community Association, bringing a wealth of experience
in public relations, project management, event planning,
and marketing.
She lives in Bear Mountain with her husband Marc and
daughters, Aly and Elizabeth. Hugely passionate about
community connection, she is a natural connector and
planner, always seeking ways to help neighbors feel more
rooted in the community.
When not planning events or fostering connections, she
enjoys hiking Bear Mountain's beautiful trails with her
dog, Leo.
Kristen is excited to create new opportunities for
residents to engage and thrive together in their shared
neighborhood.

Retired, CPA

Mark retired to Bear Mountain in 2021 after having operated a public accounting firm for 25 years in the Edmonton area. Often returning to the area with his wife, Martha, to visit their children, grandson, their spouses, in-laws and friends.

He just Loves to Golf. When not golfing, he enjoys what nature has to give in long walks around the mountain and the many surrounding lakes and beaches. And to borrow a line from a movie: "Is this Heaven? No, it is Bear Mountain, could have sworn it was Heaven!!!"

He is here to make Bear Mountain a Better Place to live and leave it a little bit better than when he first arrived.

Ken retired to Bear Mountain after a long career in the oil and gas industry and having lived in many different locations in Canada. Having grown up in Vancouver, he always wanted to move back to the West Coast and enjoy all that it has to offer.

Ken and his wife have 2 grown sons and 2 young grandchildren. He enjoys time with family and grandkids, cooking, walking, hiking, and travel.

He joined the BMCA to help give back to the community in any way he can.

Manuela left Italy almost 20 years ago to first move to Costa Rica, where she lived for several years, then moving to Toronto and afterwards here, to Bear Mountain, 2 years ago.

She loves natures, art and food. She enjoys going for hikes and walks on the beach with her husband and their dogs.

She also likes to indulge her friends by cooking delicious meals for them, and, when she has time, she finds contentment in creating art.

She immediately fell in love with Bear Mountain, the nature, people... everyone made her feel at home at once. She joined the BMCA with the desire to give back to the community and create more opportunities to bring everybody together.

Ryan is an Investment Advisor with RBC Dominion
Securities. RBC Dominion Securities is Canada’s full-
service investment and wealth management firm
specializing in the planning of business succession,
retirement, tax, estates and trusts.
Ryan enjoys hikes and beach walks with his wife,
daughter and dog. He also goes golfing, mountain
biking and skiing when he has the time.
Ryan joined the BMCA with the goal of creating a more
family friendly environment on the mountain for his
family and neighbours.

Lewis Ratcliff has lived in Victoria since the age of 7 and has called Bear Mountain his home for the past decade.
He’s a real estate advisor with Engel & Völkers Victoria Westshore, a Bear Mountain golfer, and former professional lacrosse player.

He brings a passion for community engagement and for making Bear Mountain an amazing place to live.
